The question is pretty straightforward.

>I'd guess travelers would probably be required to abandon their original
lives and identities in service of the program because they needed to
be ready to become the host identity as much as necessary without
distraction or conflict created by clinging to any past names, ties, or
habits.

Best answer so far. Was this given in the show. If not a misfire for the series.

>If they have to remember to call each by their host name in public and traveler numbers in private, that means that they get a lot of time practicing using traveler numbers out loud to each other.

Huh? But why traveler #s? Don't they have real names in the future? Like they would ever answer to what is your name with "4532" I don't think so.

I am talking about an actual name, didn't they have these in the future? How would a human in the present know what a travel number is?

>Do not use future knowledge for personal gain.

Well this thrown out the window, by what the 1st episode. Meaning these protocols are more like suggestions than rules.

By people, do you mean the travelers? If so why would it matter? Why would calling someone by their future name have any bearing on advancement?

And if the show reaches a point where it goes downhill, and making myself watch it feels like a chore, I'll dump it, even if I've nearly finished it.

Exactly this.

At first I went through some classics like Lost, The Wire, The Sopranos and Fringe. After I hit all these I was stuck in a rut to find what to watch. I continued on my trek though and still find some good ones. After watching those likes and 24 I give a show at most an episode and if I am not hooked I will stop that show. I give shows like The Peripheral a chance even though it is no Dark or Breaking Bad.

Still no bearing on where Series 14 ends up. You don't know about any (legit) clock running out.

I could care less about the subscription as I can get D+ or whatever I need to watch the episodes. So that is not a concern for me.

I showed you evidence that it was on MAX til series 14 and still can't see what is right in front of you.

Didn't answer the question as to what actually happened that caused it leaving MAX, all guesses and no facts.

The only one that is right is me, mate.

Again a lot of info, but not much said, mate.

>The announcement which was casually made on the stage was that they had "locked in for 3 more seasons."

You even said it yourself. All that and I am still right.

What I was asking and with those long answers you never answered what happened to MAX's deal with seasons til series 14?

2022? Where did you get this?

Still not the answer I was looking for, mate.

>The next three seasons of the popular sci-fi show will also be available exclusively on HBO Max after they air on BBC America.

As part of the BBC’s deal with HBO Max to stream its content in the US, the service will make 11 seasons of the revived will be available at launch with “an additional three seasons to come.” Now, one of these seasons will be the one already produced and due to air sometime in 2020.

Beyond 2020 no mention of contingencies or done by 2022. Just 3 seasons while on MAX on one season already airing the following year of the article which was series 12.
