Like you mentioned, the NRSC officially stopped funding Bolduc's campaign, and now this week, a major SuperPAC tied to Mitch McConnell (Senate Leadership Fund) is backing out. That should tell you all you need to know about Bolduc's chances.

There's a lot of talk online that he's doing great, but that always happens when people are in a bubble. It's not crazy to not trust polls (and there haven't been a lot of them in NH), but all you have to do here is follow the money.

So do you just repeat things you read on /u/politics without reading the post your responding to, or what. Who is talking about Republicans or Fox News here? Are you even old enough to vote? Do you know how primaries work?

It's a beautiful Friday afternoon, maybe go outside and touch some grass and think about what you're doing here.

This is why you should never give politicians any money at the state or federal level. It just goes into ads like this. Give your money to charity instead.

I just replaced my tires and found, like everything else, supply chain issues are making it a pain in the ass. It's more about finding good tires at your car's size, rather than finding a deal. To top it off, a lot of tire places are booking weeks out for installations because they don't have enough people to install the things.

I ended up buying four tires from Sams Club, and having my mechanic install them.

It's silly. The only reason it exists is for the two state parties and the media to make a lot of money. That's why it takes like 8 months to go through all the primaries, so each state gets a chance for consultants and dark money groups to blow up their tvs/radios/social media/etc with advertisements everyone hates.

Ummm......I doubt that's the #1 issue for most voters. It's definitely up there on people's minds, but look at what the abortion laws in New Hampshire actually are, and its more liberal than most places. This is how the NH Dems got blown out of power in 2020. They run these national campaigns yelling about DEI training, or people's pronouns, or how people in Alabama can't get abortions and then scratch their heads when they lose in a year when most other states went in a different direction.

The article says she's a twenty-something who decided to take a couple months off to volunteer for a campaign after getting laid off. I've known a few tech folks in their twenties who take "breaks" to "find themselves" and they're all trust fund kids. A good chunk of them wandered off afterwards into some other field. I'm sure this one is no different.

Other than Layne, who's dead obviously, it's all the same band. The new guy has been around for a decade and their new albums sound pretty good.

I've seen a few of my favorites from my teens in the 90s in the past decade, and some of them have been awesome (Garbage) and some of them have been extremely disappointing (Smashing Pumpkins). Hopefully this is a good concert for whomever makes it.

I think a lot of it is two things:

  1. Hearing it from home, obviously. Some parents will say things at home that they won't say in public, and kids don't learn that unspoken lesson of not saying those things. It's the classic Northern-style racism.

  2. A lot of it is from online. You see a lot of casual racism online, and you also see a lot of POC online making the same jokes about themselves, and I'm not sure kids understand the whole "It's ok when they say it about themselves as a joke, it's not ok when you say it" thing.
