I handle drug test paperwork at work. The test is read by an MRO, a third party physician. If it is positive, they contact the donor to find out if there are any acceptable reasons for the positive test, like a prescribed medication. I would say a commute to UVA isn’t really realistic. You might be able to get away with it if you live in Short Pump and don’t hate driving.
