The catch is they are in water. The top of the lake is frozen but the water under is not. This gator is outside.

The turtles and frogs that experience torpor tend to be able to handle that weather. Alligators do not typically life in places that hit the low 30s F.

Why would you abandon a cold blooded animal outside in the winter? I hope they find the person who did this and they destroy them.

If you completely move the goalposts then yes you are correct. If we compare the average shows the USA has more content across the season.

6 hour long episodes is less time than 22 episodes of 22 minutes each. 22 x 22=440 and 440/60=7.33 so the US show running "half hour" episodes is still a longer run.

No they are not. 22 episodes of 22 minutes, which is the average number of episodes and length for US shows, is a longer stretch of time than 6 30 minute shows.
