I read a lot about these fascinating cats and watched quite a few vids, but I'm still scared of them moving in all around me and I have many questions. Like, do you ever become too old for cougars or do your cougars just get older with you? Can I age out of my cougars the way DiCaprio does with his models? Would like to know these things and more before they get to Vermont, thanks!

Lol cool. BYW, your blind rage needs focus if you're going to change the world - you just spent 5 hours of your life internet-screaming at someone who is at least as left - if not farther - than you.
Good fucking job.

Ah, I see what you're doing. But virtue signaling isn't like an FSA - you can roll some over into next year. Hope that helps!

Ah yes. The Research Triangle (look it up) is booming right now because of slavery.
Anyways, by your logic, you just said you live in a place that benefits from white supremacy so your points are as moot as mine.
Take that same energy into the activist community, but please don't make your thesis "You should hate everywhere you live and feel guilty you fucking scumbag." I didn't ask to be born.

You live in the whitest state in America. STFU LOL
Here's the breakdown of where I lived in a burb of Raleigh: Asian (Non-Hispanic) (39.3%), White (Non-Hispanic) (38.1%), Black or African American (Non-Hispanic) (12.4%), Two+ (Non-Hispanic) (4.57%), and White (Hispanic) (1.98%).
80% were US Citizens. Not too segregationist, eh? Which way did Vermont go from the Civil War?

There's one in the back parking lot near Café Mediterraneo at the strip mall on Pearl St in Essex Junction.
There's another near Chicken Charlie's on rt 2 in South Burlington.
There's another one behind Trader Joe's parking lot, also in So Bu.
And there's also one two buildings up from Taco Gordos in Burlington.

Still, there is something to say about living in the upper class liberal parts of the south - especially tech areas. The people are nicer, food is better, community is more diverse, the taxes and cost of living is lower, customer service is still a thing - so is same day delivery and getting a tradesperson to your home on the same day you need them. Raleigh will always hold a special place in my heart. Too bad the rest of the state exists.

Reply to Am I the only one here, or are Vermonts road markings disappear when the roads wet? by euro_trash_rescue
Coming from NC, and having driven all over the US, Vermont's lack of road markings threw me for a loop when I first moved here. Just plain awful. I didn't know it was because of the paint used - I thought Vermont just half-assed it because snow covers the road markings anyways.
Semi-broke myself of the habit of even looking for road markings and now I just look for the white road signs on the right side of the road that pop up 30 to 60 ft before lane markings would be helpful. Totally unnatural to look there because you're just guessing if there'll be lane shifts up ahead, but it's 100% more effective than trying to see faded road paint.

Yeah, the $900 was based on what was left of the 6% in tax that VT charges - essentially it's after they subtracted what I paid in NC. But that was based on my current estimated value, not new price or even my end of lease buyout price. Strange.

The worst part is Vermont made me pay $900 sales tax on a truck I first leased in 2016 and then bought out at lease end in 2019 in North Carolina (had a ton of equity).
That means I've now paid sales tax three times on one truck. In addition to property taxes on it. That's borderline fucking criminal.
