Know what you could do that would kill two birds with one stone?
Ride the bus and ask people if they'd submit to an interview!

The mall is fine during the day. You're more likely to be harassed by a random old person for being in the way of their power walking than you are to be bothered by "teens from the streets."

True, I did enjoy playing "Who Does That Kid Belong To" and "Mullet or Not" as much as the next person, but I wouldn't expect a tourist to agree with me.

If that's the most stressful thing that could happen to you today, consider yourself lucky.
I mean, other than over-paying for whatever thing you could have just as easily bought at Target, I guess.

That's too far away for OP, and I'd hesitate to recommend it to anyone who would need to drive that distance. Traffic to the fairgrounds is insane, people are belligerent when they're inconvenienced in any way, and it's not even that big of a display.
Time and money are better spent going to something like Phipps.

I'd suggest Phipps based entirely on the fact that you won't have a shitty time if the weather doesn't cooperate. Likewise, you'll probably find that the "embarrassing Yinzer quotient" is much lower at Phipps than someplace like Kennywood, if that matters to you.

No, I can read just fine. I'm just assuming that OP doesn't want to drive 20 minutes further away than they were already planning, given their first option was closed.

Ah yes, Burgher Burger, which isn't in the Monroeville/Murrysville/Wilkins/Penn Hills area that OP wants, nor in the same county as the actual city of Pittsburgh.
FWIW, go to Dad's in Monroeville.

So the reason that trains stopped running on most rail lines by the late 80s is because people wanted bike trails in 2022?

It sure seems like you're angry at everyone.
The rail companies, for "doing anything to save money and cut costs" - which is, ironically, what companies are supposed to do.
People who drive cars, for not instead riding buses that don't service them or trains that don't exist.
Bikes, because you're too fat to ride one, I guess, or maybe one kicked your puppy when you were a kid.

A valuable connection that hasn't had a customer for 8 years, but I'm the one who's shit in your Wheaties, apparently, because I don't share your love of PRT buses.

I don't think either of those things, actually. But I do think that infra that hasn't seen regular use should definitely be re-purposed, yes. It's odd that you think this makes me an idiot.

If you want to become friends with this person, that's on you, and no one here is gonna help make that happen. However, no one's gonna help you turn this guy into a "project" for you. Read between the lines.

"Visible product" as in "you can see actual buds" or "you can see packaging?"
Because one of those is fantastic and the other is kinda pointless.

If we locked up everyone who "looked crazy" then basically everyone who was willing to stand in line for chicken tenders in Market Square deserves to be marched over to the jail, friend.

For something like fireworks, which are manufactured in China and not by someone sitting on the side of the road, yes, Google works.
Why you would prefer buying something from a person standing in a parking lot instead of an actual store with "fireworks" in the name is beyond any of us.
Out of season, Phantom Fireworks is pretty much your only answer. Most other retailers don't want to waste the floor space selling something that most of their patrons will only buy one month out of the year.

You're asking for places that willingly flout Allegheny County Health Department codes, but whatever!
Anyone got a good pizza place that's failed inspection, or maybe that has toilets that don't work? THAT'S WHERE I WANNA BE.

Well, you can do that anytime you want, at home, or outdoors. Bipedal primates who can't lick their own assholes clean are allowed at the table. Them's the rules.

To each their own, but I'd feel more comfortable speaking with a stranger in the company of many other people (on the actual bus) than I would in a one-on-one situation.
Regardless, no one should be asking for nor giving out their personal info, even for an "interview."
