It's a major problem that all these things are led by activist fundamentalists who will never compromise because their crusade is not for tenants, but against capitalism. More housing court judges and a system that works faster would address complaints of both landlords and tenant advocates (landlords want faster evictions of shitty tenants), but something that fair would never fly with the communists doing tenant organizing. This brought to you by the same people blocking zoning reform, which would increase unit supply, because they demand that every new unit be permanently regulated.
