Cool. I like their spot near the Garden in Boston and have hit up some of their beer gardens around too.

I assume they'll be taking over one of the front facing first floor units near cvs.

Something was leaking oil all down Washington street last night, the whole street was covered from Greene to city hall. It's a busy street and I didn't think much of it at the time but I wouldn't be surprised if something leaked across town and this is the run off.

Buying new bricks for your hate crime vandalism is really funny. Some sheltered suburban basement dwelling 8chan nazi who has never worked a day in his life not knowing where to find bricks or paving stones. Working class folks know where to find a brick, we hoard them in a little pile in our yard when we find them and save them for garden beds.

This guy bought 2 bricks and a pack of sharpies at the Home Depot self checkout with an airline miles accruing Visa.

I do want to point out that this happened back in Feb on Red Book Day, this is just a recently published piece about the incident. There wasn't a recurrence.

There's a rumor going around of an additional 50% hike on electric from RI energy to be announced soon.

I was just typing this but figured someone would beeat me to the punch.

However the idea to do something is good. It's great seeing the few pollen lots around. More of those would be nice, bat houses, real beehives, wild flower projects, etc are all things to poke our city council about and to, when possible, do ourselves.

Op is way off base here. Red Ink celebrated Red Book Day yesterday. It was also the 1 year anniversary of a Nazi protest and while they did have a brick thrown thru their window in the morning there wasn't a protest.

The local John Brown group was present as security out front, which is probably what op saw. They are very much not Nazis. They are also selling stickers of the brick thrown thru the window with funds going to Red Ink.

She just posted that she is running. As much as I'm dreading another election cycle I'm excited for her.

In all honesty I agree. Their beer list is pretty well curated I just prefer simple lagers. It was just a funny moment.

Seconding MS. The back room is mostly outfits and accoutrements. The people that work there are super cool so if they don't have what you're looking for I bet they could point you in the right direction.

Bartender at Chomp went down the whole beer list in agonizing detail when taking our drink order and then audibly groaned when I ordered a 'gansett.

I think the crowd that usually shopped there for convenience and to support local food sources no longer have the flexible income to do so with current market prices.

Just a guess. It's certainly why I'm at Aldi's and S&S more than Urban lately.

Unicorn Ink is doing flash and piercings.

A recent rent increase/switch to a condo model kicked out a lot of the shops. 4/5 years ago it was a great spot to check out from time to time.

I still like Rouge Island and the Lovecraft bookstore but miss the vintage shops.

But I already sharpened my pitchfork!
