Ironbound good luck .. I mean we used to go down to mosquito park (east side high school) and play against them people down the neck and it was amazing!! But idk now but we also played off Frankie Rogers and Harrison ave basketball court in Harrison 2 minutes from ironbound and I just drove pass there Sunday and it was packed ! Those courts are nice and gated too separated from soccer field .. but if you not scared and can really ball .. we be at weequahic park every Sunday morning starting next month

You will be fine. My coworker been living right on that hill for some time now since he moved from Eatontown to be closer to work. Being born and raised in the heart of Newark the hood hood.. I always tel people … it’s not like you running the streets or buggin the block or looking for drugs so you are fine!!!! Mind your business keep your nose clean and support the local businesses and eateries and life would be grand!

I don’t have an apartment …been back and forth with brother and mom.. I make a good hourly rate but only makes 30 hours weekly .. i get child support taking out biweekly which kills Me on top of taxes already taking like $600 smh I have a son and daughter so finding a 2/3bedroom Apt for under a $1000 is never happening.. I need subsidiary low income in Newark near work and atleast a two bedroom because my two kids stay with me 60 percent of the time so if anyone can help by sending a link to apply for subsidies units or any info thank you

I’ll just take it as a rant because yes it would be nice to see NEWARK read all over but I will say I think NEWARK doesn’t need any advertisements no glitter no glow no signs saying look at me because everyone knows NEWARK is the center of jersey’s universe!!!! We have everything and everything go through us!! Amazon made its way Bunch of movie production studios are contracting and planting their seed in our soil Netflix is on its way here ….
