I'm a big fan of my Danner Light II boots. Super comfy and waterproof.
I wear 'em hiking and in the office.

Was watching an episode of Fringe when I saw this post. Gutted to be sure, this guy was awesome.
In reading about him I found that he released an album, Contemplations and Remembrances. Found it on Spotify, and while I'm not one to speak ill of the dead, especially a guy so awesome as Lance - but holy hell it was awful.

Reply to pajama pants don't expect them to last for life... but looking for the best pair recommendations by billythebeefpuppet
I've got a comfy pair of shitty Old Navy PJ bottoms that have lasted for 10-15 years. Forget exactly when I got them but they've been great. Granted, they have some paracord as a drawstring now, but everything else works great!

I recently got this AKHG Claimstake Vest from Duluth Trading and it's truly a badass warm vest. I would soon get the jacket but my closet is a bit full of 'this is a great jacket I'll get it!'
Which, now that I look, I can't find the jacket though I swear I just saw it the other day.
But the vest is great! Duluth Trading / Alaskan Hardware makes some damn fine products.
EDIT: It's even on sale!

Reply to Birth of a star footage? by CantSpellverygood
Footage? There are many images of star forming nebulae and galaxies with oodles of blue (new) stars.
But if you're looking for some quasi-cellphone video of someone taking some video of a star being formed you're in for some disappointment.

I also went through 3 pairs of Chaco Sandals before I stopped buying them.
Apparently products that others use for years and years I kill in just one. I don't think I'm using them differently, they just end up breaking on me.

Sure, but then you'd have a Wahl.
Buy once, cry once. I must have bought 6 or 8 Wahl's before I decided to get a good product. Granted, I never did get a Magic Clip though.

I know you wanted cordless, but I have the Ooster 76 and it's simply fantastic. Talk about BIFL, this thing is a beast.
I also did just get this Philips Norelco for beard trimming. Is pretty damn good. But haven't had it for very long.

It's amazing what you can find on Google.

> The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has not disproved the Big Bang, despite an article about a pseudoscientific theory that went viral in August, and which mischaracterized quotes from an astrophysicist to create a false narrative that the Big Bang didn't happen.

The ones I have don't have any special toe. Just regular rugged boots, made in the US, and very warm.
