Gentrification is definitely behind the YIMBY shit. They avoid the local mom and pop establishments and open/support the new businesses. Unless one of them âdiscoversâ the spot and gives the okay via an IG reel or local blog write up.
The local businesses are forced to make upgrades to their façade and stock new/artisanal products, to accommodate the transplants. If they donât, they go out of business because their loyal customer base has been priced out of the neighborhood.

You think heâs the first NYC mayor to visit foreign countries?
I swear a lot of the criticism / comments here sound like none of you lived here that long.

>The gathering at Columbia was one of several such recent protests that took place on college campuses across the US in a show of solidarity with the people of China who have called for President Xi Jinping to step down over his governmentâs draconian COVID restrictions.

Thank You!!!
Finally someone said it.
Everyone praise the Specialized High Schools and the strict parents, but no one is saying the quite part out loud, how it affects the students mental health.

Correct.
Even the comments about Alvin Braggs be inaccurate. If everyone didnât like what he was campaigning on, in favor of bail reform, then why didnât they get the message out and vote against him. Instead they blame the people that voted for him without giving any context as to how those same voters, in favor of Braggs, are directly affected by cash-bails and the conditions of Rikers Island.

Why are southern Brooklyn voters, voting Republican, over a crime committed in the Bronx?
The Bronx DA has no jurisdiction over Brooklyn.

According to the conservatives, Obamaâs election was the beginning and ending of the second Reconstruction aka âPost-Racialâ era.
The new Jim Crow era helped Trump get elected and gave birth to the new souther strategy which is trying to push a presidential run for Ron DeSatan.

FACTS!
This the same clown that made post about removing Alvin Braggs by any means. Ignoring the fact that Braggs was elected by the communities that watch friends and family members suffer on Rikers Island because they canât post bail.
