Reply to Just purchased a motorcycle with a NY title. What are the steps I need to take to transfer it into a NJ title? by [deleted]
Same as getting a motorcycle in NJ. Insure it then register it. The title can be from anywhere as long as it's valid

Reply to Is it feasible to commute to Manhattan from Middletown/Red Bank. If so, what’s the best way to commute? by nopienopenopenope
Middletown and red bank both have stations for NJ Transit. And if you catch an express 3300 train it's not that bad if a commute honestly. Much cheaper than driving or the ferry too. But it depends where in Manhattan you want to go, it'll just take you to midtown at Penn. You can always transfer at Penn for the subway or path. But still.

Yeah I know lol. Your legal even if you had nothing in your window for 14 days anyway. Just leave em both you'll be fine.

Meh I'd put the white paper there AND leave the NY one. Hell I drove a land Rover that was out of inspection by 11 years and never got pulled over lol. You'll be fine for Tuesday

Oh really? That's very odd lol. Maybe things have changed a bit since COVID, it's been two years since I bought a used car. And I got my license the same day. But IDK how it works with the whole "Real ID" system. I still have the... Not real one?

They should have given you a little pink slip. Keep that in your window, it will turn white by sun bleaching within 14 days so you know you get it inspected. You can keep all current stuff on the windshield, the state inspection office I always go to do a great job at removing it. If you're going to pay for inspection I'm sure they'll do it fine too. But I always got the free state one.
AAA is only really needed for people like me who buy a bunch of cheap classic cars that aren't very reliable haha. Hence also why I know the process of registering a car so well lol

Registration is a little paper card you keep in your glove box. I have a nifty little folder for my registration, insurance card, AAA and my get out of jail free PBA card. You get the sticker on your windshield for inspection only, and inspection has become only for emissions for cars newer than 1994 and gas powered. So classics, EVs and Diesels are exempt!

Italian sausage with fresh garlic is my absolute favorite. But only from select places.

I went last year and it was dead lol. That may have been due to COVID still hitting the city. I left around 1am and the train had all 10 cars open and I found a seat pretty easy. Maybe 40% full? Lol

NJ Transit will be adding plenty of extra service trains to cover the ridership. They do every year lol. Last year they even held the 12:05am train to run a half hour later bc it would be silly to take an empty train out since everyone would be celebrating. The path is most likely easier, but I wouldn't want to try to find parking at Hoboken. Then again I live down on the shore so the path isn't as convenient for me as NJT is.

My mom took out a credit card at Lowes to get my dad a few things for Christmas. This was mid December and she still hasn't gotten it yet. They said the same thing.
