Exactly. Brendan deserves to win. The way he cried just hits me hard. You feel so much empathy and sympathy he just wants to make one thing right after all of his mistakes in the past

They all nailed it! If Brendan doesnt win an Oscar this year, I will riot. They are even calling it the Brenaissance. I also like Samantha Morton's acting as his ex wife. So realistic.

I never saw it as fatphobic. It even depicts what morbidly obese people go through and we are all just human beings. I am glad someone made a movie out of this showing that morbidly obese are not "lazy" but they have mental health issues and food addiction.
