I think what the fed is worried about is rising wages will entrench price increases that are causing inflation, and that the supply side issues we've been having since covid haven't resolved fully. It's not just that they don't like rising wages. The context is that rising wages won't mean much if everything else also rises. The Fed isn't some evil anti labor organization. They exist to prevent the next great depression, and the monetary policy to do that can look unintuitive.

This is true of ChatGPT as well. It looks like really convincing text, but I asked it a math question that it got confidently completely wrong. I've heard the same from professional physicists. It's dangerous because it's convincing but also completely wrong.

I think there's a really really big question about consent regarding the text to image models that are trained on billions of images without the original artist's knowledge. Of course Billionaire tech dickheads don't care about that, they just see an opportunity to automate more of their workforce.

The industry definitely needed a push. Ford, Toyota, and the European luxury brands are absolutely going to kill Tesla though lol.

He's not mentioning the dissenting views often are racist or anti-Semitic.

This so naive lol. Discussion and evidence don't matter in the face of engagement algorithms. By the time you debunk something with a nuanced conversation, 10 more conspiracy theories with no evidence are already circulating.

There's also a war in Europe and a pandemic in China.
