Unless you are one of the parties involved, you do not know that.

-
the law school is not affiliated with the college;
-
the App Trail does not go thru Carlisle.
-
Yellow Breeches comes out of Michaux somewhere between Ship and Pine Grove Forest. It runs between Mt. Holly Springs and Boiling Springs and empties into the Susq River south of Harrisburg.
-
Letort Springs Run is along the east side of Carlisle. It empties into the Conodoguinet, which empties into the Susq near midtown Harrisburg. Letort and Yellow Breeches are not connected.

Watched the first 2. Decided they were a rehash of old news. No longer clicking on unoriginal "reporting."

This... does not sound real.
Almost the alter to a post made in the sub earlier.

With Dickinson and the law school pretty much closed for the summer, Carlisle will be a bit slower than usual, but there are things to do in town, plus Gettysburg is not far away. If you have a car, DC, Baltimore and Philly are each a bit more than 2 hours distant. HersheyPark is less than an hour away.
If you are into the outdoors, plenty to do. Lots of open space with hiking trails. A big lake is not far off.

Fresh fruit and veggies may be good for the soul, but PCB's? That'll just cool down your inner hydraulics.

There's none of it over Ship today. Wreck was nearly 2 weeks ago. Any exposure or smell would have been within a day or two of the burn-off. Only places it remains is in soil or waterways near side of derailment.

None of the stuff from the derailment is in the ground anywhere near Ship. Nor is it ever likely to reach Ship. Just not happening.

Before rainfall, the nearby farmers spread manure on their fields. Probably what you are smelling. Otherwise, just the cheap hootch you've been drinking.

Reply to After the train derailment on the border of Ohio and Pennsylvania, a lot of chemicals ended up in the atmosphere from a purposeful burn off. I’m wondering if this may lead to acid rain anywhere across our state, today. by putinmaycry
Doubtful.
The acid from the Feb. 3 event mostly dissipated from the local atmosphere within a couple days after the burn-off.
