To be honest, I wasn’t even thinking about the JSTOR one being behind a paywall, cause I was signed into my work email and I teach at a college, so it just let me in, hahah. So yeah, thank you!

Having the tools doesn’t mean they are needed for every job. And he absolutely did not need a track saw for that cut. Sure, it made it easier, but there are other ways to do it that don’t require any expensive tools.

The finished product looks amazing, but I 100% disagree that a newbie couldn’t do this.

An AI with general intelligence could theoretically speed up the rate of advancement exponentially.

I wonder if there is an alien species out there that somehow figured that out relatively fast in their evolution and was thus able to head out into the cosmos faster than we have been able to.
