Just commented this on another post about the state potentially limiting or stopping state funding to private schools over the separation of church and state. This will not help the private school’s case

I just saw an article that the Mid Vermont Christian School forfeit their basketball game because there was a trans player on the opposing team. They school filed for state money, with the caveat that they refuse to “give up” their rights to not follow Vermont’s equal rights laws in terms or treatment of LGBTQ+ people and more. I think it’s more than fair that the state is considering denying this funding.

I feel like calling the police is probably the best option..which is shockingly not on this list

I did see the Memorial Day general rule of thumb. We’ve been having some freak late frosts here too, despite insanely warm winters lately so it makes sense to err on the side of caution with anything not tolerant of frost 🤔

There’s few things more heartbreaking than raising up a beautiful crop of food for yourself to only see it fail due to the weather so I’m probably going to stick with everyone’s advice on here about playing it safe. It’s been so difficult with these weather flip flops though. I appreciate it greatly!

I don’t know anyone either but it seems to be a handy thing to have on ones person. I think there are public classes you can take on how to administer it too if you want to be extra prepred

My theory is that for some people, the reality of devastation that climate change can (and will) cause is so frightening that it’s just easier to kid themselves that it’s a good thing. Denial is super powerful and it’s a lot easier to swallow than the impending destruction of society as we know it.

I, on the other hand, immensely enjoy all your dog photos. And as someone who has experienced Vermont as snowy and rather abundant in dogs, I find them to be quite on topic
