My brother in North Dakota probably wishes it would get above -40 so he can shovel.

Harsh winters with no remote work option means financial struggles in the way of increased car maintenance, increased utility bills, more time for commuting and general shopping. Shipping delays.

And the upper north of the US typically have less money for snow clearing and pot hole fixing. They just shut down the economy until the sun comes out.

Instead of moving, maybe take a winter vacation to Maine or Colorado.

Honestly, what’s the rest of the car look like? If it’s old and not maintained (dents, scratches, paint fade) you’ll get pulled over more often

On 35 you have Monmouth mall on the west side and Nordstrom rack/macys mattress and petco on the east side.

Further north you have the grove at shrewsbury. Then you have chapel hill shopping center with Whole Foods

Then you have Middletown marketplace shopping with Livotis and TJ Maxx.

Then there’s holmdel town center with Texas Roadhouse on the east side (35N) and the commons at holmdel with Best Buy on the west side.

That’s it, unless you got off 35 and ended up at Menlo Park
