Exactly, they both poison everything. PFAS have been found in every living tissue they ever looked for it. I'll go for the devil I know.

Everything has its downsides; it uses tons of water as well. But it doesn't live in a landfill for eternity. If they had synthetics without the PFAS I'd probably go for that but I don't see any.

Tbh they have very few options not covered in Teflon, and I have no need for PFAS in my butt crack. Great for EMTs I'm sure, but not my scene. I'll just be getting the single pant made of cotton

By all means be negative! I love the nitty gritty on this stuff. I was generalizing as it pertains to Everlane since I figured most people wouldn't be interested in the weeds of the matter. Sucks to hear they're perhaps worse than the other folks in the 'ethical fashion' space. But everyone under that banner is phony. There's a big degree of fluff to all these companies and I usually willfully ignore it since cheap shit made in China won't last any longer anyway. Anything made from "ocean plastic" is a scam too but... I mean if plastic is my only option sure, I'll use recycled plastic.
I really only have two tanks from Everlane and nothing else, but at a minimum I appreciate that they're cotton and seemingly high quality. Kinda hoping they won't just fall apart for the freakin cost.

Very impressed to see a "used" section on a name brand store!

They're not in my area, but I would give it a shot if I'm ever around one of them

This is the way. I broke two glass carafes before I learned my lesson. Literally everyone breaks theirs, start with stainless.

Yeah very curious too. I've pulled styrofoam other plastic bullshit out of brown bins before dumping my own. Feels werid someone would care enoguh to use the bins, but not enough to take out even the large and obvious plastic.

Most of the farmers markets collect the plant-based compost on weekends. If you want to keep collecting you probably could.

Is India particularly big on censorship? Or has Modi turned it that way? I have no context here, but I don't think of it as one if the especially tightly censored places. I don't have the sight lines to know if this is exceptional or business as usual in Modi's India.
