One thing I never understood after seeing videos of people building nature bridges for animal crossings is that why not build pedestrian bridges and crossings that can be utilised over the highways?

In someways, it’s one of the things I like about Mass because you have these areas where buildings and other walkable areas are build over the roads and highways, causing them to dip down a little to preserve the walkable areas.

It’s honestly I’d prefer since as a pedestrian, I’m still near, seeing and hearing cars while having my own walkable area. As a driver, I’d love it because it’d keep people away from the cars and can up the speed limit.

I’ve only done it under 2 conditions: 1) I’m out of the cop’s line of sight and 2) oncoming traffic is fast enough they need to slow down. Maybe I should get back into it as a common courtesy.

Most of the time from what I see, people haven’t been competent enough that they’re going fast enough to be pulled over.

There’s Tangy’s out in Warwick and X-Spot in Attleboro. I used to swing by X-Spot after class on Saturdays but but got busy so I haven’t gone back in a while.

There’s the Narragansett Bowhunters Club and the Cumberland Beagles Club, that both offer an indoor and outdoor range of some sort. I’ve never been to the one in Narragansett since I’m a bit timid and reading the rules for the place, I think it’s by invite or referral.

I’ve shot a few 3D courses out Cumberland and it’s a good hike for the exercise.

If you want to do clout shooting, my friend used to take me to the sand dunes out in West Greenwich. It’s open enough and sparing enough to shoot there.

Personally, I’ve been looking for places to do field archery and most cops I’ve asked said it’s OK to do in a park as long as you take the necessary precautions and have an arrow target.

I really liked Gotta Q out in Cumberland and Durk’s was OK, however, I found Durk’s to be a little dryer than Gotta Q’s but both their prices seemed pretty high.

On a separate note, is smoked BBQ cheaper in the south than here in north, sorta like how Maine lobsters are apparently cheaper in Maine than outside of main?

Can we also talk about people paralleling others?

I absolutely hate it when people think it’s a great idea to drive at the same speed as the person in the next lane, causing them to parallel and block off any gap to pass. It’s infuriating. Like how dense of a driver do you have to be to not realise you’re impeding traffic?

As a former employee at a Chinese restaurant in RI, my former boss told me that most Chinese takeaway restaurants are only closed on Thanksgiving.

Told me the top four busiest days of the year for Chinese restaurants are: 1) New Year’s Eve, 2) Christmas Eve, 3) New Year’s Day, and 4) Christmas Day.

What bugs me most is coming off exit ramps and the under construction areas. People suddenly drop their speeds to like 40. Like what the hell?!

I often have to take RT10 and the amount of people going like 50 is insane. Hit 70 or GTFO. Same thing on the 195W split too. They’ll be going 70 and suddenly brake to 50 for no damn good reason, when clearly you can still pass at 70.

People need to stop braking for no good reason. If you’re not comfortable taking a bend at 70, move over. Don’t block someone else from doing it.

This. I hate when people expect you to suddenly be able to climb a giant hill from 35 to 65 in a matter of seconds because they decided using the ramp to get up to 65 isn’t worth doing.

Probably hinting at something similar to lane-keep assist or lane-change assist, where it’s a sensor. Or crash detection. In this case, it’d be a built-in sensor that either scans for police radio with a nearby radius or scans for signals that only radiate off police cruisers and then have a light go off on the dash to indicate that there’s a cop nearby.

Something to that’s not removable.
