Temps at ground level can be a few degrees colder than just a few feet higher and dip below 32, at which point the vapor in the air can freeze.

And $100 is lower than it probably will be. It's 65.31 for the 1st 1000 gallons, 96.14 for 2000, 126.96 3000, and 30.83 for each additional 1000. This is combined water and sewer. In that base charge are charges per square foot of impermeable area of the property, and surcharges, plus mins and quarterly charges. 2-3 people will easily use 3k gallons a month. This assume a regular 5/8 residential connection. You could have larger with higher mins, or be in an apt that charges it differently.

So far this poll tells me that 88 people are going to vote for a turnip.

Reply to comment by sockar101 in $150 per month for water for a 2 person household? Is this normal? by SomeHolesInThisHouse
This is correct. 4k, which is 1k min plus 3 additional. This could be because OPs meter clicked past 1 extra time (e.g. last month gallons ended in 999), or a toilet leak (could be over 1k gallons if left overnight), an old.shoernhead without water saving, running washing machine/dishwasher more than normal, or even just a regular old leak or quickly dripping faucet - or all of the above! 4k gallons is a touch on the high side for two people, but it's not completely abnormal. if op normally uses 3k gallons (from previous bill) an extra meter click every couple of months is totally normal. Btw, they round down for billing. If you started at 0 and used 1999 gallons youd only be charged for 1000. But when you use 2001 the next month, it'll catch up and bill for 3000. Either way, you used 4k and paid for 4k but timing might split it up

Waze is basically more effective than radar. Esp with those driverless cars throwing out false positives for their navigation. I haven't seen a cop car that wasn't marked already, although there were quite a few spots that were marked where the cop had already gone. Luzerne county is the worst, bc they drop the 70 down to 65 and then set the trap right there so they can get you at a higher fine/point value. At this point, the highway is also divided by woods, giving them a nice spot to hide in either direction.

The limit drops to 65 in luzerne and they love to have speed traps there. Also near lock Haven if you take 28 to 80.

Lol fetterman was up how much according to summer polls? Now it's flat, when we all know they favor the D? Now he's telling people about early leads by the other guy? Sounds like he's trying to plant a narrative for his likely loss.
