If you have something else pushing the pieces together it works quite well. But its not got a lot of gripping strength. You could go with something else like PL400 or similar but with what you are describing I am not sure that it will work. It kind off depends on the load of the smaller pieces. Small load, it will work. Heavier load, no.

When you close the tap, it has a feature where it purges the tap of all water if it is frost resistant. You can tell that it has this feature as it blows water out even with the tap all closed.

You can just follow the pipe inside to where it connects to a water source and see if there is a shut off there.

I read about this about 15 or so years ago and watch a documentary about it where there is actual real film from Nanking. And It is NOT nice. There are a few movies on this subject now, one starring Woody Harrelson was pretty good. But its dark, dark subject matter and you won't feel good after watching it. Its kind of that that older movie The killing fields about Kambodia. You just cant really fathom that there are people who would do such things.
