The people that are infuriating are the ones that refuse to go vote at all just because they don't like the candidates in a single race. They never take local/regional races into account.

Also, if as part of your travels you plan on getting TSA Precheck, they now have partnered with various Staples locations for the appointments, typically with only 1 day's notice.

There is a ramp on Rt 9 in Middletown, CT that actually DOES have a stop sign. The accidents are so numerous, they're finally going to take the extra land to extend it into a proper merging length.
Now for real fun, come on down and experience the Merritt Parkway!

Smashburger has always been good to us. Never had a bad meal there.
For slightly more upscale chain burger, BurgerFi was good the last few times as well.

If you want arcade games now, go to The Quarters in S Hadley. As little as $1/hr for unlimited play, but you have to do reservations now. On the other hand, they have special events like trivia or karaoke nights where they include unlimited play as part of the ticket. They also have food and bar available.

Even if you text "stop", that only applies to that particular election cycle.

> Edit: I'm talking about passing on the left, where you're supposed to pass.
In CT it is legal to pass on the right on a divided highway of at least 3 lanes, as long as you remain within a proper lane at all times.
https://law.justia.com/codes/connecticut/2005/title14/sec14-233.html
Sec. 14-233. Passing on right. The driver of a vehicle may overtake and pass upon the right of another vehicle only when conditions permit such movement in safety and under the following conditions: (1) When the vehicle overtaken is making or has signified the intention to make a left turn; (2) when lines of vehicles traveling in the same direction in adjoining traffic lanes have come to a stop or have reduced their speed; (3) upon a one-way street free from obstructions and of sufficient width for two or more lines of moving vehicles; (4) upon a limited access highway or parkway free from obstructions with three or more lanes provided for traffic in one direction. Such movement shall not be made by driving off the pavement or main-traveled portion of the highway except where lane designations, signs, signals or markings provide for such movement.

At this point I would settle for the semi-closed primaries to allow Unenrolled voters to vote in them. Wherever that is used, the kook quotient seems to be much lower.

If you want real chaos, let's just put names and omit their political parties altogether. It could be said that listing the party could be providing undue influence to vote for someone they otherwise wouldn't.

If I'm going to tagged with all the kooks on my side, the other side must endure the same. That would make all Democrats meth-peddling, gangbanging cop killers that go shooting at Congressmen during charity softball games.
Are you?
If a comparison or insinuation is good enough for one side, then it must be good when employed in reverse.

I'm a Republican and I want early voting, absentee voting, and most importantly a change from closed to semi-closed Primaries similar to MA where the Unenrolled can pick whatever party's ballot they want on Primary Day.

I said that many on both sides DON'T want people to have all the information. They want voters to show up, realize they had no idea that half what is on the ballot is even being contested, and blindly vote the party line instead of being able to make a truly informed decision.

Those differences are precisely why I like my absentee ballot. For all of those unfamiliar races, it gives me the time to look them up right then and there to see their policy differences. It took me nearly twenty minutes at work to fill out the most recent ballot, time which I consider well spent.
