Not sure of legality or anything but if I was in your shoes, I would talk to your neighbor and ask them in a friendly way if they put the camera up. Worst case, it gives you a chance to meet them or get to know them a little better even if it’s a town or company camera and not theirs.

If it’s one mouse, you can easily put down a $1 trap with peanut butter on it and your problem will be solved very quickly.

Mice get in everywhere even in well built newer houses, they can fit in even the smallest hole or crack. Likely the way this one got in wasn’t because some botched repair, but as others suggested, seal any crack around the repair that was made with foam or similar.

I just have it set at 57 all the time. As well as opening and shutting shades depending on where the sun is over the course of the day when possible.

I’ve been told by some that’s a little extreme for temp but I’d much rather throw on a sweater or hoodie than have propane truck delivery every two weeks.

And that isn’t the case here BASED ON THE ARTICLE YOU PROVIDED. This dude didn’t allow anything to be stolen, the gun was double locked up in his car and some dirtbag broke into the locked car and then broke into the locked glovebox.

If you’re going to push a ridiculous narrative, best not to use an article that goes against what you’re trying to say. Using your exact quote is not twisting words.

Has it? I see no change in behavior or protocol from eversource, PURA, or the bought and paid for politicians. So how has it been effective in the past?

One could even say they’ve gotten worse and more brazen in their disregard with PURA coming out and saying their reviews of eversource price hikes are administrative and they have no actual power.

And any negative criticism/interaction, he just says interact with his personal website to boost his views or whatever. Could not be more of an egomaniac.

The best part is that while being fully on the “capitalism sucks” bandwagon, he has ads/deals for for wal mart on his site. So also a hypocrite.

Instead of going to a random place like a bar or similar and hoping to meet future friends, you’re better off going to a targeted event where you will meet people with similar interests. A parents group thing, a house of worship event, game/theme night at a venue, etc. Whatever interests/hobbies you like.

Probably the best place to start though is your neighborhood. Invite people over for drinks, game night, pit fires, or whatever wit who you think you would connect with.

Can also try to develop friendships with co workers as well but that can often take longer.

Yeah I think that’s it. I go to that plaza for a couple things including perusing Total Wines bourbon sales and I noticed there was a seafood restaurant/takeout I hadn’t seen before a little while ago. The outside made it look like a cheap takeout place so I thought it was best to avoid but if you’re saying quality and taste is good, I’ll give it a shot sometime.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who looks at FB profile for people on the run or for people who are accused of serious crimes.

I think my personal favorite was 2-3 years ago when a teen robbed some convenience store at gunpoint and then claimed he didn’t have a gun…cue the FB profile pic of him pointing a gun at the camera.

Reply to comment by Tonydildos in XL Center vs. Mohegan by ec34500

You’re right, I was thinking Xfinity center or whatever The Meadows is called now, it’s changed names probably 5x..

In still trying to answer your question, Xfinity center has a ton of other events besides music acts…car shows, various UConn men and womens basketball games, etc to schedule around.

XL is a bigger venue, just one level below arena like foxboro so they attract the huge names. Mohegan is a smaller venue than even fox woods main stage, so they get a lot of B tier stuff although sometimes something like Springsteen or Journey will do a 2 night show there.

Also mohegan is obviously indoors which opens availability in winter and XL as far as I know doesn’t have winter time shows.

Edit: I now realize this is incorrect as another poster pointed out, I got XL and Xfinity centers confused.

There’s a CT hiking and outdoors group on FB that has a massive amount of people and there are routine “looking for hiking buddy” posts. Definitely try there as well, you will probably get better results.
