Do yourself a favor and listen to Thank You Scientist. My personal favorite album by then is Stranger Heads Prevail.

I hope you eventually get the chance to see them, especially at a place where tailgating is possible. They are amazing live and the crowd always shows up!

Coheed and Cambria… a lot of mystery and metaphors in their lyrics.

Neil Young only. I use Spotify so if I want Neil in the car, which I certainly do, then I have to go CDs. Already have a lot by him but just bought one last weekend lol

I would say so. Maroon 5, while not my cup of tea (outside of their first album), have been one of the bigger groups in the last 20 years or so.

No problem. There are a bunch of little nuggets like that throughout his career but this one is by far my favorite.

His label was mad at him for his previous record, which was electronic/synth heavy so he offered them a Country album he had previously recorded but they rejected it and demanded a “rock” album. So, Neil being Neil, he formed a backing band called The Shocking Pinks and made a 50s style rockabilly album.
The label was so mad that they shut down recording before Everybody’s Rocking was completed and released it “as is”. They then sued him for ~$3 million for making albums that were “uncharacteristic of his previous work”. He then countersued for breach of contract, because his label had offered him complete artistic freedom. He won and the label publicly apologized lol
