The good thing about the green and orange line at North Station is that they use the same platform so you can just take whichever shows up first. That's what I used to do going back to Longwood to get my car at the Simmons garage after Bruins/Celtics games when I parked there for work. If the green came first, I'd take it to Longwood and if the orange came first, I'd take it to Ruggles.

Yeah what I'm saying is EI should have prepared you for this prior to your move. If your kid was 2 1/2 in your previous state, they should have been working on referring him to school there. If he wasn't yet 2 1/2 and they knew you were moving, they should have provided you with his IFSP and advised you on how to establish EI services once you settled in MA and then the new EI here would have handled the school referral.

All of that is a moot point now though since he is already 3 but without services.

I replied to another one of your comments as well but Pepperell is part of the North Middlesex school district. You should send them, in writing, a note that you and your child's physician are concerned that he has a disability and/or developmental delay. The school has 5 school days from that point to respond. They will send you a consent form for an evaluation for special education services. Once you sign and send back that consent form, they will schedule evaluations and then determine whether or not he qualifies for an IEP/special education services. They have 45 school days to complete the entire process.

When did you move? It kinda sounds like EI dropped the ball. At least in Massachusetts, EI has an obligation to notify the school district in the child's town of a child turning 3 who is aging out of EI and may qualify for services.

No. You need to write to the school special education department and say that you suspect your child has a disability or developmental delay. At that point, the school is obligated to evaluate the child for special education services. They will send you a consent form for evaluation which you will then sign and send back. They will evaluate your child to determine if he qualifies for an IEP and then hold an IEP meeting where they will share the results of their evaluations and discuss his eligibility for services.

Does your spouse have MassHealth based on disability or based on income? If the former, he can likely keep his MassHealth but if he is now covered under your employer sponsored plan, MassHealth will become secondary and will cover things like the deductible and co-pay for the primary insurance. And yes he does need to let MassHealth know he now has private primary insurance.

According to my mom, who moved to the Cape in summer 2020, Falmouth is the only town on the Cape that does have pick-up. Everywhere else people need to bring their trash to the dump. (I haven't fact checked this so it's possible she's wrong, she repeats what other people who are wrong tell her a lot.)

Well this month is the first month that you've really had the heat on most likely. It was 80 degrees out in early November. I didn't turn my heat on until Nov 14. My gas bill with Eversource last month was $33. This month was $165 but that's because of increased usage, not higher cost.

Also as a woman I don't hesitate to use the single stall men's room if the single stall women's room is occupied so I don't really see the big deal if men use an empty single stall women's room if someone else is using the men's one. As long as they aren't pissing on the toilet seat and leaving it up, I don't see why it matters.

Residential parking is only available to vehicles registered in the neighborhood for which they are seeking a residential permit. Roslindale permits are only available to vehicles registered in Roslindale.

That said, I've lived in Roslindale for 11 years and most of the neighborhood is not resident permit parking. It's really just a few streets by the commuter rail.

>Is it best to Uber into the city from the airport or take a ferry??

Neither. Either take the airport shuttle to the airport T station and get on the blue line or take the SL1 (picks up at all terminals) to South Station and get on the red line.

In January you want indoor activities. The Aquarium, Children's Museum or Museum of Science are good options. If they like sports, check to see if the Bruins or Celtics are at home when you'll be in town.
