I've lived in Western Washington for 60 years much of it outdoors throughout the Cascades and Olympics and I've never run into.

There is no chance this will ever happen. Xtian clergy have special privileges available to no one else in America,including here in Washington, except military.

This includes special access to elected officials. Go to the contact web page for any elected official at the federal or state level in Washington and there's a special check box for military and clergy.

Regarding your comment about bbq, I hear where you are coming from as I lived in DFW and NC.

However there is one caveat. You are talking about traditional American bbq. Here in WA there is some excellent, as in world class, Asian bbq that compares to anything I found in the South. Apples and oranges for sure but really, really good bbq and pretty available.

I don't know if it is a 'good' way but from the sound of it it's their only way to get lesser charges
