The original was one of my favorite series. For the continuation, I do like, it, but it has not crossed over into being great. It does have one of my favorite actors ever in it (Hudson), but the show has more moving parts versus the original. Couple this with Addison seemingly having little character (definitively less than Al), and it stays good while missing getting really good. Hopefully it can turn that corner once it is revealed why there is another leaper.

At least for me, it was one of those shows which kind of sneaks up on you. I gave it a try because someone recommended it to me, and I found it really fun to watch.

Possibly the weirdest / strangest / oddest show I have ever seen; I did like it. I am a bit surprised it made it to S3, especially after Amazon dropped out.

Yep. The last few episodes really start to make the story move. If you think S1 ends strong, S2 should blow you away.

I understand why you found the first few episodes difficult: I did to. I listened to others and stuck it out and really glad I did. S1 is very important as it pretty much sets the rest of the series. If you like a big scifi series, get past S1 and it really pays off.

I do think it is one of the better comedies on network TV. Granted, not every show is for everyone.

From this group, I am really looking forward to Perry Mason. The lead actor is one of my favorites (The Americans), and I thought they did a solid job with the character.

Several years ago I did burn myself out watching the first 2 seasons of Orphan Black - and I will never binge like that again. Instead I will watch a season of a show (rewatching Justified - getting ready to start S3), and then move on to a different show.

And he will most likely get it - or at least very close. There is even a chance it could go for more than the $9B. There are few companies out there with the ability to get the eyeballs but not be too expensive for multiple companies to acquire.

I do not watch any of them.

I have to disagree - I thought he played it perfectly.

I wonder if Freevee might grab a S2 since they are currently streaming it.

I watched the show with the hope it would be as good as the movie was. I thought it started well - severely lagged - but I do think it ended strong.

No real surprise it happened - it seemed really more than a question of when.

Not too worried about less shows coming out. My watchlist is so large - shows & movies - I doubt I will ever watch it all. One of the main reasons I (usually) wait a show has been renewed before I give it a try.

Reply to Star Trek: Legacy deserves a chance to exist by AlwaysBi
Between the legacy characters and the children introduced this season, there are the components for a new series. At least for me, S3 is the closest to what I was hoping for in the Picard series. If they can pull that into a new series, then they could have something solid.
