Bought our candy at Costco this year and way less trick or treaters than usual. Got a huge extra bag, but will probably just use it for Girl Scouts or something.

Current DEEP suggestion is loud noises and stuff to scare him away, rather than encourage him to hang out.

For water? I don’t think that’s accurate. We are incredibly lucky to actually have clean water in this state and enough of it (generally). I hate neversource too but Aquarion is run pretty fairly (so far).

The state agencies have email lists and usually stuff like this has to go through a public notice/comment period which is published in the newspaper.

You have to keep an eye out but there are usually promotions to get cheaper tickets, especially week night games.

We have to coordinate with drillers (do environmental work) and the coordinating is awful lately.

And everyone loves a stop work. Like you can just pull an officer out of thin air, but hadn’t, just for fun.

We also can’t get cops for some of our work right now. It’s literally “we’ll let you know 24 hours before”. That helps us in planning almost zero.

There’s very few places that are already reporting so the numbers are going to be weird for a bit until some of the larger population areas report.
