This is based on 2080 hours of work and 2 weeks vacation. Easier to get to your numbers that way.

Where do you live? Diesel techs are in high demand. Our company is starting our techs at a much higher rate with incentives to start.

Not sure it works like that. People claim that on my company all the time and we have to provide a signed receipt copy.

This sounds like an awful company. We have collections people at our workplace and would never set a quota. All that is so dependent on the economy and outside forces. You can’t force someone to pay. If you’re doing your job and making the calls and doing the work, there’s no reason to fire you. I’d start looking for a job now.
