We need more mid range housing in the area. Not low income and not the luxury apartments. The problem is that these midrange places are like "2 bedrooms? I have 2 bedrooms! I can charge $1700 too!" even though they don't have the amenities or finishes of the newer places.

Steve Pokin's column "Answer Man" is especially worth reading. Sometimes it's silly like "why is there always a car parked at the high school?" - It was the drivers ed car. But a lot of the time it's more interesting tidbits and history of the area.

There are only a few factories in the whole world that make glasses frames. I can't remember the exact number, but it was around 5 or less. Some higher priced frames have nicer features, but for the most part, they're pretty much the same.
