Try it. I’ve been going there for 20+ years. My brother likes Hong Kong and when he comes to town we go there. It’s good, but I think the chicken is crispier and the sauce is more flavorful at Shanghai. It is a little more expensive though.

I like Shanghai Inn the best.

Here is the cashew chicken recipe we do at home:

4 chicken bouillon cubes, 2 cup water, 4 tsp sugar, 2 tbs soy sauce, 2 tbs corn starch with 1/4 cup water

I don’t choose it when I want “Mexican.” I choose it when I want Mexican Villa. It’s its own thing. I go to a lot of the other places too. I love Cesar’s, Jose Locos, used to hit Cantina Laredo and Maria’s when they were here.

It’s kind of ridiculous. It is what it is and nothing more. I grew up on it so I enjoy it. Usually eat it a couple times a month.

We parked in the Fruit Farm lot. Waited probably 45 minutes for a bus in around 5:00. Decided to make the walk back after, which took about 50 minutes. Glad we did as I think it would’ve taken longer waiting for shuttles. Garth was awesome. Stayed for everything. Epic.
