Texas? If not, then we got the same problems. They built toll roads that are the only direct connections between a few minor cities. Supposed to stop once paid for, got paid off 15 years ago. But I still pay $6 to drive 9 miles with traffic.

It depends. I work in finance and met a guy who took Dave Ramsey to heart, at least the biblical parts. He sold his house and car, then bought a cash car and rents a home now. Said he didn't want to be in debt to anyone, but failed to see how being a renter was much worse. I agree with you about credit cards though, they are a nice feature if you are responsible. However, most americans use it as a slush fund to cover bills they can't normally do.

It's literally just Dave Ramsey, same system different packaging. The problem with money management "Gurus" like these is that they advise you to fully swear off credit and pay in full. That isn't smart if you actually want to buy a house or get a business loan in the future. You need to manage your finances and incorporate healthy credit habits. Dave Ramsey may be a millionaire, but it's because he sells you this advice and products to use with it. He would not have that kind of money from envelope budgeting alone.

He’s still a 23 year old quarterback that was worth a top 3 pick two years ago. He hasn’t tainted himself either. Usually this conversation happens after a pick bombs. I don’t think they are getting any first rounders for him simply because they’ve already wasted 2 years of his rookie contract. But they won’t have any problem getting a team to take the cap and some late rounders in Return.

This was during a time when the nba draft had several more rounds than today. Often teams just drafted whoever, because those people would never play. For example Bruce Jenner was drafted even though he hadn’t played since high school. It’s a big reason they dropped it down to 2 rounds. Even in the modern nba, the talent pools is severely diluted after the first 10 picks.

You are right about his past. But the calling plays things is speculation. I haven’t seen the Andy Reid or the team claim that. I do believe that Reid can and will overrule his decisions though. There are a lot less qualified people that get head coaching jobs in the nfl every year. Freddie kitchens, Jeff Saturday, and Adam gase just to name a few. Gase for one had the exact situation you described that led to him being a coach except the violent past. He ran an offense that performed well with Peyton manning at the reigns and became a coach for the dolphins. Failed at that then was hired by the jets. I’m sure his race is barely playing a role, but the nfl doesn’t have a great record with hiring coaches of color.
