You can own a gun. Just can't buy one unless you want to lie. They can't access the MMJ database for a background check. You can buy long guns private party with no background check. Keep your card tucked somewhere safe unless you are getting from the dispo and don't have it on your person when in possession of a firearm.

That's a good point. The idea of privatized infastructure just baffles me. The strikes really opened my eyes to what these guys go through and what these railroad companies want to get away with. Ideally, they want one engineer per train and as little workforce as possible. Instances like this really don't help their cause.

Attic insulation will help tremendously as well as air sealing the attic. Fwiw, even old gas furnaces maintain about 80% efficiency, so unless you go to a condensing gas furnace you won't see much improvement on the electric bill. If I were to upgrade it would definitely be to a high efficiency unit.

Wood stoves are definitely nice to have for backup. I think a heat pump with a wood stove for supplemental/backup heat would be perfect. It's just not ideal for everyone. Many people just want to flip a switch. Not to mention the wood itself. Finding and splitting your own wood makes it worth it, but its too physically demanding for many people. With the price of cord wood, it just doesn't seem like it would save you much money over alternatives.

Modern heat pumps can work in below zero temps. Their efficiency doesn't drop below 100% and can reach 300%-400% efficiency. With HEEHRA, qualifying households can get up to 100% of the system paid for. Geothermal is definitely the way to go if you have the cash, but an air source heat pump is the next best thing.

Just reached out to Scott Perry.

>Hi, Im sure you are busy with the whole cell phone debacle and planning the next insurrection, but I'd like to ask you to take some time out of your busy schedule to tackle some real issues that are affecting your constituents. Recently PPL had major internal issues causing electric bills to skyrocket. The bill estimation, which the PUC allows, supposedly uses historic data to estimate the usage. I'm not sure how, in one of the warmest Januarys in recorded history, that electric bills are so high. Just today PPL took a 3 month advance on auto payments. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I ask you, as one of your constituents, to do everything in your power to correct this issue. I know it is a tall order between election denying and thinking about Hunter Biden, but Pennsylvanians deserve better.
