Is this the reason....or is it because people who are in the wrong sub are trying to shoehorn their narrative into the sub. The is BIFL, not where can I find a stretchy wool shirt. Notice how OP didn't say one damn word about lifespan? OP can do his own homework. You are free to kvetch about my advice but its ironic that I'm helping OP and you aren't. Help OP vice condemn my help. I'll be awaiting your helpful post with much anticipation.

Nice redirection. Again, you have two sources to visit, concentrate on that vice trying to triple down on being right. Since you like to type, replicate your post on /r/malefashionadvice and get the best advice. Or don't. I'm not your boss. And if you want the longest life in woolens, you should not be asking about Merino

  1. Merino wool has a tensile strength of 30-40 N/ktex
  2. Alpaca wool has a tensile strength of 50 N/ktex
  3. Vicuña wool has a tensile strength of 40-64 N/ktex

Don't move the goalposts as a wool shirt does not last longer than a long staple cotton one. You posted in the wrong sub...its OK, go to the right one and ask, I even gave you the right sub. Or google for yourself. You are asking a question about where to buy/find as you already have your answer. I gave you two options....go forth and find them.

Love your post and hope you get great recs! You gave us what you wanted with too much information....in a sea of "Backpack, thank" posts, yours is an inspiration of how to do it!

We have no idea what looks decent to you.

We have no idea of your budget as BIFL footwear can be 200 to 10,000 quid.

You need goodyear welt construction boots as that is the hallmark of BIFL.

You are in luck as you live in one of the countries with many options. https://www.loake.com/ would likely be the affordable option with https://www.trickers.com/row/ being the step up. There are many steps up from those though.

You are conclusion shopping, let's not do that. If you want BIFL sheets, use the search engine as we have spoken on this topic like 90 times in the last 3 months. And none of those conversations stray from long staple cotton or linen.

What you want is not a thing to my knowledge. The issue is cotton. 99% of the BIFL brands of socks we talk about here are a blend of XXX and YYY. So if you open the aperture, we can help.

We have no idea. Hot and cold are personal metrics and my advice is literally useless. https://www.reddit.com/r/BuyItForLife/comments/10c0snh/quality_bed_sheets/ will guide you on what the shell should be comprised of to avoid pills...with long staple cotton being the key. The rest is on you finding a thinner, less weighty and/or different material insert.

You should not post your problems in a random subreddit hoping for a one in 7.8 billion chance that the person who can help will read it. Take your fat ass up to your post office when its open and find out.

Ah...the old circle jerk by people who think they know what this sub should be. This happens every two weeks here, where people who have never taken a statistics course apply their Dunning–Kruger knowledge and dismiss everything as survivorship bias sans data. And further lament that since there is no ebay, etsy, facebook marketplace, thrift stores, goodwill or yard sales that one cannot buy survivorship bias products so why speak to them?

The sub that better matches this is you putting your product in the search engine and taking notes with pen and paper. Unless you are searching for someone super esoteric like a wallpaper seam roller, the product has likely been spoken of 30 times a year for 5 years.

This is BIFL, not /r/mid-range.

Zero people can help you as the only metric you buy an air purifier on is the size of the room serviced. We have no idea of your room's size, so we can't help. And by room size, you need to be honest. If you are going to use it in a 120 sq ft room with the door closed, then say so and we can start looking at that size. But if you are going to use it in that room with the door open and essentially exposing it to your 2500 sq ft house, then say so.

  1. https://thisendup.com/furniture/sofas/ are the hardiest sofas in the history of the world.
  2. Local upholstery shops are a thing and you need to know you can have any cushion refabric'd with anything from whale penis leather to carbon kevlar with any cushion material from aero gel to concrete when the cushions fail your comfort and/or aesthetic requirements.

There is no answer for this. Leather quality comes from the leather and the workmanship and the materials other than leather. 0 people know these metrics for the "designer brands" to make a ranking list. If you want a Fendi wallet? Go get the damn thing. It will be BIFL, don't worry as 95% of luxury goods are rebadged/designed from paragon OEM sources. Will it last as long as a BIFL wallet from a non-designer? It will likely be close but there's an aesthetic difference between normal and designer and some want this. Beware haters that get big mad about $1000 wallets....while not my cup of tea....they are legit, but some get SuperMAD about them.

We cannot help you as you have not provided enough information and you are in the wrong subreddit.

There are MANY metrics of purchase with dash cams with the LEAST helpful metric being lifespan, so any help here will only pigeon hole you into a bad dashcam.

Read https://www.reddit.com/r/Dashcam/comments/zmv6is/choosing_a_dash_cam_101_a_helpful_guide/ then visit it or /r/dashcams/ for advice as you will not get help here.

You are asking too broad a question. Men, women or children? Multiply by casual, play, dress, skirt, suits, pants and 300 other types of clothing. I get your question. I do. But there is no answer as the math is too high.

If you have any hope of finding great items at thrift stores you only hope is a smart phone while shopping and even then its a mixed bag as you can find a titanic quality Brioni suit that sold for $10,000 new, but it was sold new in 1984 with collars wider than the tires on your car. Quality does not mean you can actually wear it as fashion plays a role. The stories you read on the internet about people finding $10 Alden shell cordovan boots and $15 Jean Paul Gautier sweaters are by those who are hyper focused/smart in one clothing type and are in an area with fantastic thrift stores.
