A recommendation of one is not how you should buy anything. The best pods are https://www.amazon.com/Members-Mark-Dishwasher-Ultimate-Clean/dp/B0B88XB3Y5/ according to the last Consumer Reports test I saw, and save for a long COVID supply dry spell, they are my go to. They are amazingly cheap. And if you want to go way deep on this topic: https://www.youtube.com/@TechnologyConnections/search?query=dishwasher

Zero people can help you with this question as its personal. Will you like the movie Dune? Will you like REO Speedwagon's 1984 album Wheels Are Turnin'? Will you enjoy the American presentation of the Greek dish Saganaki to the European version?

No one knows.

And even if your stunt double were to appear, guess what? Their advice would likely be the Bizarro Superman advice as 5'3", 155lb Tim from Sweetwater, KS tells you the Fern is an chair shaped iron maiden. Tim fails to mention he has spinal lordosis though. Thanks Tim!

You did exactly what you should do, you ordered both...you will fit test both....you will send one or both back. You are adulting right, quit second guessing yourself.

You read wrong. You don't read about brands as that is a distraction from the topic which is whether the individual boot is BIFL or not. That metric mainly relies on its construction with Goodyear welt being the gold standard most of us look to. These appear to have a Goodyear welt meaning when the tread wears or cracks, a cobbler can put a new sole on and they can live another day.

Are these top tier paragon boots that will take a HIMARS strike? Nope. But they should last a good long while and can be recrafted by a cobbler.

And Red Wing is a good boot, again not top tier, but again...don't rely on the name. You should walk into a Red Wing store and state your metrics and ask that anything shown should be Goodyear welted for later recrafting as Red Wing sells both good boots and bad boots. Sadly many here just say Red Wing and run away without my admonishment. Same applies for Timberland, Allen Edmonds and many other makers.

You are conclusion shopping when you should be asking an open ended question. Sateen is NOT the BIFL weave, so by asking this even generally, you have missed the mark of this subreddit. You should be asking about Percale.

Please stop speaking about thread count as that is the most useless metric in the history of the world as there is no thread size standard. Are the threads the size of jump ropes or 20 microns? No one knows, so comparing 400 to 450 when you don't know the thread size is an ignorant play.

There is no metric for better, so your question raises more questions.

Speed Queens are BIFL. The TC5 top loader cleans better than their other top loaders.

Maytag 575 and the associated dryer are BIFL.

Bold statement: a dryer is a dryer with them being simplistic and this is one item you can "cheap out" on, if your OCD allows you to have an unmatched set.

Knock on wood, front loaders clean better than top loaders...people debate this though. I was proved wrong on this issue once by someone nice here. And if clean is a goal, research detergents....the king, to my knowledge, is Persil which is what we use.

You cannot diagnose cancer nor vehicles online. If you have the money to buy, have a need for an extended cab truck and have a plan in place to have a pre-purchase inspection performed, you have all the elements needed to purchase the vehicle sans internet support.

Wide as a size is a slippery slope. There is no definitive wide, each maker has their own metric. The above is a generalization applicable to many but not all. Brannock is the Lord and we need to preach that with BIFL shoes as buying a 12AA is far superior than just selecting 12 and going about your day if you are a 12AA person. Most BIFL shoes come with Brannock sizing.

Your question is vague and you need to take a stance.

Do you want loafers?

Do you want slip ons?

Plant your flag as there no in-between. Pick one. Don't be loosey goosey here, you need to pick one.

  1. Allen Edmonds has many offerings in your price range so your overpriced claim is confusing.
  2. You cannot ask about comfort online as that is a personal variable much like delicious pineapple pizza or Norwegian death metal music.
  3. Wide is not a size. https://www.golflocker.com/images/dynamic/Allen_Edmonds/Allen-Edmonds-size_and_fit_guide.pdf is what to use to find your true size as most BIFL shoe makers come in specific widths and you need to know this prior to ordering. Without this, most makers consider anything A to D to be normal and E and up to be "wide".

Please stop. You think a $1000+ briefcase is silly. We get it...you are so edgy....now realize that some people have the budget to support or the desire. I spent $175 customizing a jacket this week at the tailor that 0 people will enjoy other than me. We all have things we spend money on for "no good reason", let us live our lives or let us know of your silly purchases to make fun of you eh?

It does not upset me, its wasting everyone's time. Here are stove variables:

  1. Gas/Electric
  2. Single/Double oven
  3. Convection or no
  4. Width constraints
  5. Amount of burners
  6. Specialty burner factors like built in grills, ventilation, etc.
  7. Price
  8. Aesthetics

If you want real help online, you need to sort these all out and make a well formed question. And the above applies to almost anything. A question like "Stove, thanks" is as helpful as "Car, thanks"....take the time to form a great question to get a great answer, otherwise you are wasting you and the internet's time.

You can't even buy a new oven door for this for $10,000. That's the point...when you post no details of wanting things, you aren't going to get proper help. That's a stove that costs more than your house likely.

Rowenta and T-FAL are the BIFL iron brands. Use and type of clothing don't matter when buying. Some models come with a sacrificial anode so you can freely use tap water, otherwise best practice is distilled water use.

Boards are harder as there is no consensus and this varies more on YOU than us as some like small ones, some large as this is an ergonomics question vice lifespan as there is no lifespan winner. A piece of wood wrapped in an old wool blanket will do in practice.

You are asking a generalized and vague question which will lead you in circles and not get you the answer that you seek.

We need a budget. $1000 boots are a thing and fine for some and not for others. Along with this, a look/use case would be nice as there are turtlenecks and fashion turtlenecks and turtlenecks for warmth.

Have you used the search engine? You are asking about 4 products and we have spoken on each many times. Have you read https://www.reddit.com/r/goodyearwelt/comments/kfbe17/gyw_for_women_brands_and_notes/ which speaks to boots?
