Twenty years ago I would say this was true but now, not so much. Back then you knew the players and there were no phones with updates, I knew alot of people who took time off just for these four days. Now, you dont know the players and your phone hits you with updates, a brief glance and you go back to work.

Borderlands 3 was the first time I noticed it, there was a huge red chest on your ship that could only be opened if you had the pass or a DLC.

The Tom Clancey games are pretty bad especially with starting a quest and not being able to complete it unless you have the DLC. It was embarrassing how much time I spent trying to do the General Anderson quest until I figured out you needed the DLC to do it.

The only time I watch anything on FOX is for football and I do that if it is the only game on and then I get annoyed switching channels at every commercial break just so I dont see whatever BS they are pushing. I dont even listen to FOX sports radio for that reason.
