There are many other gay-friendly states and all of them have higher vacancy rates. Would you be working in Vermont? If so, you could consider moving here, but the housing issue is such that it will be difficult or impossible to find a job in the state that comes close to paying for housing. if you're moving here to work from home, be aware you are gentrifying locals out of the state. If that doesn't bother you, fine. If locals hate you here it will be if you are a work from home yuppie, not because of who you sleep with.

The narcissism here is a little over the top.

"hi, I don't live there, but what are you doing for me?"

Most people in VT don't care if you're trans but we are very, very sick of gentrification and not being able to afford to live here. That is the most pressing issue in this state and will be for some time. How about fixing the south instead of leaving?

My apartment failed inspection (of course, it's a VT rental so it's a dump). I am a single person with no kids making well over $60k per year, and when I get booted out of this place I'll be looking for a job in another state. Makes more sense than looking for another overpriced dump here.

It's also a population that wants no part of integrating into American society (assuming you are talking about Somalis). All the other immigrant groups, including those from other African countries seem at least somewhat interested in being good neighbors and getting along. The Somalis, not so much.

Most photos need to be "edited." Photographers use the RAW file format. RAW files come out of camera flat and lifeless, and color needs to be corrected (it may not have been, in this case) and contrast added. The learning curve for processing is much steeper than shooting.
