Oh I remember 2010 too. But before that, we hadn’t had snow like that since 1993. If you look at the historical snowfall, the past few years haven’t been significantly less than what has happened since the 1800s.
I just think the whole “winter isn’t how it used to be” is hyperbole. Winter hasn’t changed all that much in 200 years here.

We had an above average snowfall literally last year. There was always winters like this

We had 45 inches, which is slightly above average. The year before that we had 58 inches, which is 14 inches above average
