I live in Fairlawn, south of Mineral Springs. We bought our first house over here after living on the East Side of PVD for 8 years. This spot has been nice. I like my neighbors, there’s a good sense of community, and it’s pretty walkable. Is it the East Side? No, but it’s been perfectly nice for us. Oak Hill and Darlington just north of Rumford are known to be nice, too.
