I recall those days not so fondly, seeing the Bre-X office here in Calgary. The hoopla over it was enough to make me suspicious and stay away, but sadly, my mutual fund managers invested heavily.

The funny thing is that my first thought was along the lines of, "fool, can't you spell?" The second thought was, are these really in Australia, but then I remembered seeing one at the old entrance to the Fort Lauderdale Airport in Florida. Which led to the third thought of, I'd better check on things before I shoot myself in the foot.

So, I shot the other foot, apparently! :)

Very cool shot. I was confused by the title, so did some research.

Is baobab and boab the same?

The common name 'boab' might reasonably be assumed to be of Aboriginal origin, but it's actually a corruption of 'baobab', an Arabic word of African origin that means 'father of many seeds'.

It's a clue to the tree's evolutionary associations because the boab and baobabs belong to the same genus.

> How much money is enough?

Enough is knowing you can sustain your lifestyle for a time with no income. A safety shield. A sensible thing.

Sometimes though, when the money is coming in strong, the lifestyle bumps up a step and it takes more to sustain it so the safety net must get bigger.

Then comes the fear of losing some of those gains, so the safety net must become even larger.

Enough money is a state of mind which many of us need to learn, or re-learn.

I do remember well, and it was a rough time in life.

The problem for me was I didn't realize how serious the problem was until I was out of it. Even now there are many days in which I am barely able to get by, and count on the one dish meal stash I have in the fridge. One day in the kitchen gets me a good meal each day for ten days.
