Try contacting Worcester technical high school if you can enroll in their electrical, or electro mechanical, or computer trade courses. I forgot the term but you can definitely ask about it and they should point you in the right direction

Reply to Short-term rental around UMass Chan area by Dexiade
You could look into local universities and ask the housing department where students are renting out. Plus the student affairs offices should have advertisements made by students looking for roommates. It’s a safe idea to try.
I would stay away from websites like Craigslist’s if you’re a lone person. Usually it’s full of creepy and weird or suspicious dangerous people.

Yeah the baseball stadium was a huge waste of money. It only brings ppl into to watch the game and leave. rather than something that would encourage people to visit and stay and explore the city. The demographic that actually lives here doesn’t care about baseball.

I drive on these streets and it’s a combination of a few things
-
Drivers are aggressive “me first” and very inpatient.
-
Distracted driving with the loud stupid music and phone in hand or driving on drugs with weed fumes pouring out of the car so strong I get second handedly high for a few seconds.
-
The road design sucks, there’s more than a few streets that have the lanes, if you were to follow them to the tee, would drive you into the other side of the street into oncoming traffic. Like that road between the highway over the diner and the closed down meat store with the giant gay pride flag on it.
-
Uneducated drivers, I see people inside! The rotary coming to a complete stop to let people outside the rotary enter and pass in. I also see all the time at the grafton rotary, drivers block the fucking rotary because of “me first” and don’t stop on the line to leave the rotary open and let traffic continuously flow. So they sit in the rotary clogging the street. Until the red light far down the road turns green. There’s so much backed up traffic because of this jack ass behavior.
-
Driving school is a joke. Where I work I can see out the window, different driving schools use my street for new drivers to learn how to parallel park and how to 3 point turn. So almost every person rides up on the curb, almost smashes the parked car or gives up and drives off.
-
Messed up roads with giant potholes has ppl swerving in and out of lanes to avoid them and these same ppl Never use their side mirrors to check if they’re gonna ram someone else out of their lane. Same with these little attention starved little kids always doing wheelies on their probably stolen bikes or dirt bikes who take up the whole road or on the wrong side of the road to be edgy.
-
Nobody knows what a turn signal is or what the speed limit is. Or how to merge.
-
If it’s not aggressive drivers, tailgating up your ass pickup trucks, it’s on drugs drivers, distracted drivers, or the sleepy slow idk where the fuck I’m going drivers that refuse to keep up with the pace of traffic which seemingly, seemingly like to instigate and coax drivers into road rage
Some ppl really don’t belong on the road or should have access to a motor vehicle

This is poorly worded or I’m slow. Are these clinicians and case workers riding along with the police to the scene of emergency? If so I hope these people get trained for self defense and can handle if things get out of control for the worse.

It’s safe for a big city. Although your kinda inviting yourself for danger by posting your exact street name and floor you’re on.
We didn’t need to know the street name Or the floor Or that you’re a woman.
If you’re gonna live in the city you’re gonna need some common sense and self awareness. Don’t be like those people unaware of surroundings that walk all alone at 2am with their phone out face buried in it and headphones drowning out all sound around you while you walk down past a few bars on a dark street. Then get robbed and kidnaped and get mad at the city for having bad people in it.
No personal offense. I work at a college and hear stories like this a lot. It’s sad lots of young people lack self awareness and basic safety measures

Yeah deceit is a problem and a red flag that she can be bribed or lie about other things too. Which like I said anyone especially people in high positions will say anything to get a higher paycheck or look good at work.

People will say anything to get a bigger paycheck. As long as she does her job attentively and for the best interests of the children without mixing her personal agendas and beliefs into public education then she could be blue, green or purple for all I care

Make more available parking and people will want to come to downtown.
Parking is that subconscious decision on where you’ll want to be going for the night. If there’s no convenient parking, let alone safe parking at night, most people visiting the city or really just not from the downtown area won’t be willing to take a 10-15 minute walk from some random dark sketchy street parking.

Like two years ago, When I was at the Linders junkyard in Worcester, playing with some cars, next door was a big open field with dirt mounds I saw some kids riding dirt bikes on. Idk if it’s public or private or anything about it but maybe google earth around the area or call Linders junkyard themselves and ask if they know anything about their neighbor sorry that’s all I’ve got.

That’s not a strong argument because for popeyes there’s already a KFC, a Spanish restaurant selling chicken, dennys, wendys, mcdonalds, crown fried chicken down the street, and Chick-fil-A within 5 minutes of driving down a longer street. There also a Texas Roadhouse in the plaza. Chicken and burgers is pretty much equal.
It would be cool to get a Sonics though, since their menu has some specific items you usually can’t get anywhere like the hotdogs and soft pretzels.
