Since the moment the “driver equity” bill passed that said you can’t be pulled over for minor infractions, people feel they can get away with anything. When will someone start standing up for the actual everyday normal citizens?

Trader Joe’s, Giant, Giant Heriloom, South Street Market IGA are a few in and around the neighborhood. And yeah, I found I just had to buy more strategically of what I could carry and how many meals I could make

One tip I would like to give people moving here: check the trash schedule on the streets department website. On holiday weeks, like this one, trash pick-up is delayed a day. It’s important in a dense city like ours that your household trash doesn’t become litter! Also don’t put your recycling in a paper bag! It never turns out well. Get a real plastic bin.

This always blew my mind as a kid but it also made so much sense because how else would so much of the woods be uniformed in the size and age of the trees.

I did it for years. Had a number of co-workers do it too. SEPTA is the correct train to take ha. There's an express train that skips a lot of the delco stops in the morning you want to take. The real question is where you are working in Delaware. Downtown Wilmington is the easiest to get too.

Growing up, when we went to the grocery store, my mom would get like gushers and fruit rollups, and sleeves of soda cans every week at the store. We grew up eating tons of junk food lol. Got to love the 90s

It’s bizarre people are downvoting you. The auto gratuity is a gross thing. If it costs you more to run the business, then charge $20 for a sandwich and stop lying that the customer somehow has to “pay gratuity” to make up the difference

Lol I agree, and let's be real. It makes more damn sense to do that out in a parking lot than all driving to South Philly's little narrow streets and doing it.

There's multiple compounding things that happen on New Year's Day that makes it a generally bad day for regular residents.
- No parking enforcement because of the holiday
- Delco/Bensalem/S. Jersey "real philadelphian" mummers drive into the city with their big SUVs and just park across the crosswalks everywhere in South Philly
- They get out of their suburban tanks and get wasted and just throw their trash on the ground and puke everywhere
- Then they get back in their cars, drunk drive home, and wake up today to post about crime and how awful Philadelphia is. Rinse and repeat each year.
The shameful part is this: The real mummers were still at the convention center while the bozo losers had already trashed second street. There is two different groups of mummers.

I’m partial to the belief that looking at the skyline is better than being in the skyline, so AKA U city wins for me.
Also, the Four Season's bar is open to the public so you can stay in Ucity and still go to the top of the four seasons.

It’s such a damn shame Froggy Carr ruined the whole thing for anyone not involved. The mummers are probably at their least popular point ever because of it which is kind of sad. losers ruin everything

You print a fake paper plate out. Put it on a stolen vehicle. Commit a hit and run with it. Commit a robbery. Then you can just drive away, no worry of cameras because it’s a fake plate and you know your safe in Philly
