That’s a good question. I think I saw it on Reddit. I knew I had it saved on my computer
Edit: it was the Washington Post https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2022/09/29/chain-restaurant-capitals/

Going off this map of metro areas, I would say no, it's not a particularly high "chain" city: https://i.imgur.com/7lc6EY4.png

There is a generation of people who feel like they can shoot and rob anyone at anytime because they don’t fear any consequences. God pray for Philadelphia because we need it
RIP young man. and let’s not let his murder be in vein. Never again can we allow this culture of killing fester into the societal cancer it has become

…what? I don’t need you to explain how the process would work. I literally just responded to the notion that someone as unqualified as her shouldn’t be in any discussion

Gentrified Philly is pretty nice when the recycling men (and people putting it out) do better.

Exactly. Honestly, I appreciate the guy who has pushed for the Roosevelt but I’m now to the point where I’m worried it’s just distracting from better enhancements and we will get nothing built

can you share projections that Northeast Philadelphia is going to stop declining? If any subway extension happened would it make sense to build it to the navy yard where literal thousands of new jobs and new apartments are about to be built?

Urbanists should really focus on towns and neighborhoods up zoning and pedestrianizing the areas around the regional rail stations. The Roosevelt Blvd is a pipe dream.

Oh yeah, just what people want, twice thrown away food that the labels are peeling off. I clean the blocks around me to make the kids on the block feel better about themselves and hopefully can have a better outlook on life

I live right off broad. You wouldn’t believe (maybe you would) how much food I have to throw away. Clearly a lot of it is given out as charity but the people getting it don’t want it anyway. Like just bags of canned beans and shit. All the time

The people with time and money who do stuff like that, do it to make themselves feel good. It’s not about the community.
