this dude is at best a "psuedoarcheologist", which IMHO is a more PR-friendly term for "raving conspiracy theorist who uses circumstantial evidence in an attempt to prove something that does not hold up against logic." AKA Whatever this guy does, know that any sort of "analysis" and expansion of ideas is going to be rather questionable.

I've had a job like that before and it's truly miserable. i would, quite literally, show up to work for days and even weeks at a time and do nothing but sit on my phone because there was nothing to do.

We all knew it was gonna happen, but Scott walker is a dumbass and he pushed it through. I still occasionally see "jobs" posted for them but it's well known here that they just don't exist

Dude fuck Foxconn. all those worker suicides, and their general treatment towards the workers is despicable.
Also fuck Scott walker for being swindled out of 10 billion dollars by Foxconn, who was supposed to make a factory here in WI nearly a decade ago.
EDIT: Apparently we managed to get it reduced to merely 8 million dollars now, so that's nice

I have a friend who was a submariner, and he explained it this way to me:
imagine being stuck in a super cramped boat, having to share the same tiny, cramped bunk bed with other crew mates (they sleep in it on their sleep time and so a bed isn't empty and wasting space), and you do it for months at a time.
and you do this all with the same group of guys, so you better hope that yall at least pretend to get along, because it's a long ass time trapped in there.
(I think he had mentioned its one of those "no girls allowed yet" jobs still because their mission parameters basically put them needing to be submerged for literally months and no access to offshore medical)

a lot it IS free though. You can argue all you want about "the implication" of it, but it's quite literally grants and aid. Yes, lend-lease isn't free, but the vast majority of stuff thus far has not been loans
