Why? So you can leave the shop and immediately get pulled over for your tint and then get the shop in trouble? That's how this works; if they give you a pass and you get in trouble it comes back on them.

You can't have that tint here. No one is happy about it.

Your options are to take it off or not drive your car.

Edit: going to point out this guy's profile. He's one of the folks buying up investment housing, so you know, if anyone has a good shop to recommend him to...

I didn't say it wouldn't be more of a hazard at high speeds, I agree with that.

My primary concern is visibility, and your counter is valid, though at least since 2018 backup cameras are mandatory.

Maybe he has one hidden in there and that negates the concern.

That doesn't make it less of a hazard.

I'm also local to Portsmouth and see it around regularly.

If he backs into a grandma in the RiteAid parking lot (where I last saw him) everyone's tune will change.

All I'm saying is this same type of thing could be done more safely and still just as hokey and fun.

If only there was some source for that info...

From the article:

> How is it possible to have more than 1,000 drivers per 1,000 driving-age individuals? The Federal Highway Administration doesn’t make that clear but we suspect it has to do with data sets that do not perfectly overlap.

So it sounds like this data is indeed shit.
