he was literally arguing with the dispatcher to send an officer to file a report. she finally agreed, reluctantly, and with such attitude too

he waited a half hour, and went back into his apartment building

over 3 hrs later he got a call officer was outside ready to look at the damaged car

this was 2021

Yeah no kidding. And if by some miracle you reach someone and they say they are on their way you're lucky if they get there within 3 hrs. Someone hit and run damaged a family members car parked on street. Dispatch asked was anyone injured. He said no. They said so what does he want them to do for him. Lol.

Ive paid the same price since the 50/50 days and now have 300/300 but in some cases I get higher than 300 for DL. I pay $40/mo. FiOS is absolutely amazing and I am so glad we ditched Comcast all those years ago

There were some pretty vile comments in this thread, I see now that the mod removed them. And likely for good cause.

I am skipping over the rest of the race-based comments, just to say I am so glad they caught the ones responsible for this murder. I hope the entire bookshelf is thrown at them. The area around Temple seems to be getting worse and worse, certainly worse than when I took classes there back in the early 2000's

bingo

no jailtime IMO, just community service to clean up the community they trashed

AND

they need to take the owner of the vehicle to CarMax and buy him/her a comparable vehicle. looked like a Volvo....guess these 2 shitheads will be working night shifts somewhere to get the victim a new comparable used Volvo

ATVs almost ran my Dad and I over outside of UPenn hospital while I was escorting him out after undergoing critical colon surgery. These assholes care about no one except themselves. I remember when I said I wouldn't shed a tear if they all got mad maxed, and then got a warning from the mods for inciting violence ....the irony

Won't happen as long as the ACLU's lawyer army somehow has a bottomless pit of funding. I get that this country has a stain on its record of how the mentally ill were handled, but the pendulum has swung too far and now we're not handling it at all out of fear of resurrecting the past.

Unlike the past, when these people are removed from the streets, they should receive actual treatment (and I don't mean like the experimental treatments at those mental facilities that used to be on the roosevelt blvd)
