The dirtier horses bit at the time was specifically referring to cars not having manure, in the end cars became far more polluting .

A lot more of it is also because of factory farming… we have to change the way we eat, and also what we eat.

Yeah, we’ve had electric cars since their introduction. Petroleum was just cheaper and worked better. Ironically a big selling part for cars was that they’d be “cleaner than horses.”

Yes, nestle… communist, that’s so hilariously backwards. They’re one of the biggest capitalist companies in the world with a capital C.

Well, with the war in Ukraine Nestle has supposedly reduced its presence in Russia, so they might be shifting products that were otherwise slated for Russia to other markets. They don’t want to lose money in products they’ve already filled so it seems like capitalism at work here.

And you can find it on *archive.org and watch it if you want. There’s also a great movie of a fictionalised account about making this movie as well starring John Malkovich called Shadow of the Vampire.

It’s because the top layer of ice froze quickly and there was a hole in the ice where some of the water was pushed upward through the hole as it froze, forming the spike.

It’s like you found the acorn from the Ice Age movies; beware of the antics of a sabre-tooth squirrel longing for it.
