Your right they defiantly didn't do anything to help women suffragettes or the civil rights movement. /S

In fact to prove you wrong here is a list of marches that changed history.

The Boston Tea Party

Stonewall

The March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom

Anti-Vietnam War protest in Washington, DC

It's not just a park they are day lighting the water way that started this town and returning it to its natural bio diversity. This will add so much more value to the city then a cheep scare open one time a year. They have give the owner plenty of opportunity to sell or move operations. Now because they are having the value assessed it will likely be much less then what the owner would want. It sucks and I understand the sentimental value that the owner is putting on it. He's had it for a long time and put a lot of work in to it, but it's not safe plenty of people have been hurt because of missing safety precautions. I would love to see it open somewhere else but the childish way the owner is handling it is a bit sad.

Glad they are getting rid of this eyesore. They have had a number of large insurance clames due to unsafe features harming visitors, its ugly as sin, we need to focus on showcasing local natural beauties like the plan the city has in place. The owners aditude through this whole process is disgusting and childish, and proves he just wants money and doesn't actually care about the city.

It's also obvious that literally almost none of you understand how budgeting and city finances work.

It's not other homeless people it's Crack heads and college/high school kids having hotel parties. And hotels denying you in your situation absolutely had a right to do that as much as it sucks. They have an obligation to protect employees

You obviously have no idea how business works. They had 2 hours notice that they could sell recreational. I went in on the second day to hippos was in line for 15 minutes they had plenty of options and the budtenders were incredibly helpful as the inventory didn't match what the floor had. They did a wonderful job getting people in and out with the amount of people they had. In gen/ sales for dispos most of them saw a 200-300% increase in customers. If you are having that many issues waiting in line like everyone else I suggest taking advantage of online ordering so you don't have to wait and can almost guarantee you are getting what you want from their stock. My anxiety sounds like it's just as bad as yours, I just medicate differently as I couldn't afford a med license when they came out so consider yourself lucky that you have had access to medication for this long. Be happy that your fellow man can also medicate as they see fit now.

Would highly suggest they have several deaf teachers and Steve fritz is the "head" of the asl department. He is very involved with the deaf community

I can understand why they are upset. I drove my step kids from springfield to strafford this morning no issues at all roads were clear and dry. Including the tiny side roads in strafford. If a small town like strafford full of county roads that don't ever get cleared has school there is no reason for springfield to cancel.

Seconded, I have seen too many people who aren't from around here try to drive out on "snow" not realizing it just a dusting covering the layer of ice.

Just don't go out. If professional bus drivers are not out driving because schools are closed your ass should be home. If you go out you are not only risking your life but anyone who MUST be out on roads such as emergency responders and MODOT.

Edit* also if you are from here and go out, don't be an overconfident ass that tailgates people.

I've used sams club in the past but I had to take it back 3 times because they did absolutely nothing. I am needing another alignment here soon as well and would also like to know more reliable and affordable places.

Leave earlier Plan for a "long" commute with audio books, podcasts, music, ect Take backroads. May not be quicker but you won't have to stop as much

No need to be an ass when there are plenty of options, we all have to sit through the same traffic. Would probably get better if residents drove safer/better and didn't acts like crackhead If it upsets you that much go to town meetings, write to town hall get involved with city planning and local politics.
