She and her sister were spayed prior to us adopting them, so it would be one hell of a miracle if she were.

I'm so sorry to hear that! When I was about 10, one of my family's cats went outside and never came back in. We suspected he was caught by a coyote (I grew up in an area that has tons of them), and it broke my heart. I hope Grover found peace, one way or the other. <3
